Due to a national theoretical training provided to all resident for many years and the ongoing discussions to change the organization of the resident training of specialized study diploma (SSD) of nephrology, a survey was done to assess the perception of skills acquired in the management of different clinical situations in terms of knowledge, expertise and attitudes. The expected results are intended to identify new training procedures for future nephrologists in France. The study was performed in 112 resident from 3rd and 4th year of nephrology resident training attending an educational seminar of the University College of Nephrology Teachers in May 2014. The survey was conducted with a self-administered anonymous questionnaire to assess the perception of the acquisition of different skills. The results show a heterogeneity acquisition between different areas of skills suggesting possible improvement with development of outpatient activity or with training in specialized units such as for peritoneal dialysis or plasma exchange activity. Therefore, these findings suggest further structuring of the regional training and development of the simulation training to acquire the expertise and attitudes. Finally, the use of an evaluation book of skills acquired throughout the training could be interesting in the context of standardization of validating training of nephrologists as proposed in the reform of the SSD of nephrology. 相似文献

It would therefore be of value to explore EMS managers’ approach to this knowledge.DesignA modified Delphi method in three rounds.MethodsIn total thirty-six EMS managers participated, and twenty-four finished all three rounds. They were encouraged to rate each sub-category, and the ten with the highest mean were interdependently ranked in the final round.ResultsFive categories and twenty-six sub-categories emerged in the first round, covering knowledge related to; contextual aspects, medical and holistic assessments, formal education and organisational issues. Eventually, the sub-category ‘Knowledge to assess the patient’s situation from a holistic perspective’ was the highest ranked, followed by ‘Medical knowledge to assess and care for different diseases’ and ‘Knowledge to be able to care for critically ill patients’.ConclusionsTaken together the knowledge areas address essentially medical care, contextual aspects and nursing. Fish consumption is of great importance to children’s health and is essential for neurodevelopment, which begins in pregnancy and continues throughout early childhood and into adolescence. However, fish consumption presents conflicting health outcomes associated with its nutritional benefits and its adverse contaminant risks, because both avoiding fish as well as the consumption of contaminated fish can potentially harm children. This may be challenging to communicate. The present review was performed to assess the current knowledge and recommendations around ‘smart’ fish-consumption decisions. Health Canada advises, as well as other advisories and guides, that fish should be consumed for its health benefits, while also informing consumers, especially women and children, to limit certain fish consumption. The current literature must attempt to handle the challenges inherent in communicating the dilemmas of children’s fish consumption. Incorporation of new knowledge translation strategies are proposed as a means to raise the level of knowledge about optimal fish consumption practices. 相似文献

Orthopoxviruses (OPV) are emerging viruses with great importance in human and veterinary medicine, such as Vaccinia virus (VACV), which causes outbreaks of bovine vaccinia (BV) in South America. The clinical aspects of BV are similar to other vesicular infections, complicating the clinical diagnosis. This cross-sectional study evaluated the knowledge of Healthcare Professionals about BV and revealed their unpreparedness about BV in a VACV hyper-endemic area in Brazil, highlighting the public health issues associated with VACV infections. 目的 评价实施儿科护理人员疼痛知识培训课程的效果,为有效提高儿童疼痛管理质量提供依据。 方法 采用类实验设计和方便抽样法选取符合纳入标准的170例儿科护士作为研究对象,对其实施儿科护理人员疼痛知识培训。培训前后采用儿科护士疼痛知识与态度调查问卷(pediatric nurses′ knowledge and attitudes survey regarding pain, PNKAS)对其进行问卷调查,比较培训前后儿科护士疼痛知识水平、态度的变化。 结果 培训前后,儿科护士疼痛管理知识总分及各维度(疼痛一般知识、疼痛评估、药物镇痛、镇痛措施及案例分析部分)得分比较,差异均具统计学意义。 结论 儿科护士既往缺乏疼痛管理教育及培训,疼痛管理知识培训可有效提高儿科护士疼痛知识水平,同时改变其疼痛管理过程存在的错误观念。 相似文献
